New Series: Tarot Tuesdays!

Greetings Earthlings!

Teal here,

So I had an idea for a series that I'd like to start on the blog, and on my YouTube channel. It is by no means innovative or ground breaking, and I am absolutely not the first person to do something like this. Buuuuut, I think I'd like to add my perspective to the conversation, because in the end, that's what my goal is, to converse and exchange ideas!!

ANYWAY.... I'm going to attempt to do a "Tarot Tuesday" series! I'm not sure how consistent I'll be able to be, considering I don't really have a place I can go for privacy to film, but I can at least type up a post and shoot a few photos... This series is intended to be more of a journal of my own personal thoughts and experiences with the 78 cards in the Tarot. I am not attempting to create new meanings or to claim that I "know it all." I've been having some pretty awesome breakthroughs with the cards lately, and I'm so excited to share what's been happening!

So, for the first entry in this very public Tarot Journal, I wan't to talk about the Queen of Wands from the Deviant Moon Tarot deck. I'm sure the Deviant Moon is not a stranger to you, especially considering we are just on the other side of Samhain and that deck is a very popular deck this time of the year! When I first saw the deck a few years ago, I was immediately put off by it. I thought it was creepy and crude. BOY was I WRONG!! Once I'd had more experience with the Tarot in general, I was able to look more objectively at the illustrations in the Deviant Moon, then I began to see the beauty and the sense of humor behind the art! It still took me an embarrassingly long time to finally pull the trigger and add it to my collection. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!? haha!! I'm glad I waited though, because I was able to purchase a signed copy directly from the artist!!

Look at me, digressing... Ha ha!

Anyway, just look at that hot mamma! No, really, LOOK at her!! She's a woman who knows how to be ALL THE THINGS! She is in control of her femininity AND her masculinity. She is both strong, yet soft; a warrior and a seductress! She sees, not only what is visible with the naked eye, but also what is hidden; she uses both logic and her intuition. She can either be your worst enemy, or, if you are willing to collaborate, she will lift you up and do everything she can to ensure you succeed! She is sure of herself and the power she possesses! Her fiery nature is the source of all of her creative power, but when provoked, she can just as easily use that power for destruction.

Oh, to harness the strength and confidence of the Queen of Wands! What could one accomplish? Do you know a Queen of wands? Are YOU a Queen of Wands?
